yasraena is still a very young mod, but she is liked by many fans of the BGII game. we have therefore added some of the praise she has received to her webpage.

the following people have had their quotes used:

Wistrik
Kain
Twinblades2
Moongaze
Keltosh
Atlasia

if you wish to be removed from this list, or if you wish to be added to this list, let us know--and we'll take care of it.

Oh, my bleeding heart has been touched once again!

This poor little girl, Yasraena... what can I say about Yassy...?

Stoic, hurt, teetering between her past and her future, battling with so much uncertainty and undeserved hate from people who have no idea about her (I wanted to slap Anomen so bad!)... and desperately in need of a good old-fashioned HUG!

**Sillara, perhaps you can add this option in future releases: Give Yasraena a big, fat, friendly BEAR HUG!**

Why do you (Sillara and Nethrin) continue to do this to me?

I shall henceforth be known to all as Lady Kai, the Lover of Lost Causes

Seriously, though.... I am enjoying Yasraena very much... I think she and I have so much more in common than either of us think. I could see us being BFF (Best Friends Forever). I'm only about 2 days into my new campaign and already I love her to death. I can't wait to find out more about her!

Thank you! We try. icon_linkbiggrin.gif Be sure to let us know what you think when you get to find out the rest of her story.

But I promise that the next time we make a mod it will be much brighter and less--depressing. She will have NO tormented past, I promise. icon_linkcool.gif

Can you accept a necromancer? Can you trust a murderer? Can you love Tsujatha?
If you like Tsujatha, you should read his novels.

Who says I have a problem with tormented people?

I think that is why I enjoy them to much. You can only take so much of Imoen, Aerie, and yes.... even Solaufein (much as I like him). At least, *I* can only take so much. Too much happiness in a mod is too reminiscent of the Brady Bunch (shudder).

Yes, yes, go ahead and hurl your stones all ye non-believers, but as far as *I* am concerned,

The shadows hold ever more intrigue than the sunflower,
For it is in the unraveling of it's mysteries that thine own soul is laid bare.

Playing a female (again). Thus my other post regarding Poor Anomen. I will have to try the mod again as a male at some point.... but not until I get tired of seducing Tsujatha icon_mrgreen.gif

But I still tend to take Tsujatha even into my male PC parties. At least that way I can see his non-romance epilogue! icon_twisted.gif

Seriously, though, I found that Yasraena was far less tortured than Tsujatha; he is just much more private. icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm just afraid Tsujatha would turn my male PC into a... well....a Haer'dalis wannabe....

The Force is strong in that one, yessss....

That is hilarious! icon_linkbiggrin.gif

But Yasraena has her own attractions, if I do say so myself.

Agreed.

She doesn't whimper like Aerie. She doesn't use her past as an excuse for continued hatred and bitterness, like Viconia. She isn't overly subdued like Jaheira. Her voice is ambrosia. She's loyal, which is hard to come by sometimes (*kicks Yoshimo*). She's inquisitive, but not annoying. She's respectful, but not stuffy.

Most of all, she's a lot of fun. :)

(I do enjoy playing the mentioned NPCs now and again, but Yasraena is certainly a breath of fresh air.)
This Child of Bhaal will soon encounter Saerileth. Let the realms rejoice, and let the gods watch and wonder.

Viconia talks tough, but Yasraena *is* tough.

On a little side note....

Sillara, I remember reading somewhere that you and Neth were trying to figure out a little "Drow-speak" to include in this mod.

Well, having played Yasraena a little, I have to say I'm very impressed with the voice-overs you did. It sounds like you've been speaking Drow all your life!

Love the way it just... rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrollllllls off your toungue.....

Very, very VERY well done!

sillara is trilingual, so that might have something to do with it.

english is her native tongue, but she speaks italian and japanese fluently.
