The English read-me is misnamed.  Specifically, "dsotscBGEE\readme_ds~ (2).htm" should be "dsotscBGEE\readme_en.htm".

So why DSotSC EE changes proficiencies for axes and morning stars? I suspect that they use old vanilla category
because my paladin with two pipes in both have one attack  and no proficiencies bonus but no penalties too.
Culprit is the dsotscBGEE/itemsg folder. I had to manually remove items blun06 and ax1h04 from override to have normal game and I strongly suspect that won't be the last mistake. Any hints?

Well that is going to get fixed. I recall the arrows and such increased the stacks but the other things like the hand held weapons I don't remember. No need for this to be in the game. If people want to increase the stacks of arrows and bolts, they can do it with a saved game editor.

This weekend. This version will remove the stack installs. No other fixes since I haven't heard of any other problems with the EE version.
As for your other problem.

I've heard that people are getting these error messages from time to time:
Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message.
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.
and so on.

Ive had that problem as well and I'm the administrator here. Its a browser problem I suspect. What I did to correct this, I use Firefox, is:
Find the cookies for baldursgatemods and delete them all, close the browser and then restart the browser to make it work.
Probably the same on other web browsers.

The special clerical spells that have been introduced by DSoSC have been overwritten, presumably by another mod.

The icons have remained the same, but the spells appear to be the same as the original game. An example being that the spell to give extra shielding has been replaced by "cure wounds"

Second bug:

Have returned the amulet and so Jet ' Laya's quest is complete.

Went to do the Dark One quest. Killed him outside the cabin. Nothing on his body. No door into the cabin. :(

Looking at the mods you have installed. Darkside really needs to be installed first. Its important that you do this as the BGEEv1 version overrides some files.

For the Dark One quest you should have been greeted by one of the phatoms when you retraced your steps from the Banshee area. Who explains the situation with the Dark One. Normally this would trigger the enounter. Have you spoken to the phatom to see what happens?

Yes I spoke to the phantom.

What is happening is like the old problem when the Dark One teleported away.

Could it be that he teleported away and died simultaneously?

His body was outside the door to the cabin, but no phial. :(

Would it worked to have CLUAed him in again so that I could fight him again?

Since I had killed him, I decided that I would forget the quest for the time being.

As Jeremy did not appear, I CLUAed him in and the Cavalier that he tells you about.

I was rather surprised that a paladin was given proficiency points in bows. ???

That is something that should be easy to sort.

I would have given ** in two handed swords and ** in two handed weapons as the logical choice.

In my game he died and I had to leave behind his weapons as the party was weak compared to the skeleton lord. After resting and returning his equipment had disappeared.

We went to get him raised and set off to Beregost. However after being raised he no longer behaved correctly and was forced to leave him behind. Was this because he no longer had the correct equipment?

By killing Drakelor twice I ended up with two babies. A minor bug, but one that would be best if it were sorted.

I know that he is not supposed to be killed twice, but that in itself is not a problem IMO.

Sorry for bringing so many probs to you, but I think it is best if you discover them all now rather than later.

Posting a list of cre and itm codes etc. would be helpful as players could then give you more info as to what the actual problems are.

I think that the major problem is that the original mod was written in a very linear form and so if you do anything at all out of order, it breaks things. It is however an excellent mod and I am glad that you are still working on it. :) I loved the extra dragon. Much better. :)

The phatom should follow you as you approach the dark one. When you have killed him once or twice a dialog kicks in that tells you about the phylactery which in turn allows entry to the cabin. Also if you kill the Dark one enough times he will drop the phials anyway. He may have already done this somewhere.

I think the scripting and overall implementation for Bub looks unfinished. The problem with this NPC is that he is in the original game as a fighter. For Tutu I replaced this creature with an Orge using coding and then created a new NPC with a different death variable and dialogs called Bubb to avoid conflicts with the original character. In the game though he's still Bub.

Not exactly a bug.
I mentioned the paladin above but didn't give his name: Conchobhair Strongblade.

It is he who is a cavalier and yet one of his proficiency points is in bows. Seems wrong to me. He also had a bow which of course he couldn't equip in his inventory????

It seems to me that somebody decided to change him into a cavalier when EE was made. That is fine. It is a logical build, but they didn't think of the implications, ie that cavaliers cannot use bows, so both his proficiencies and his equipment need to be changed.
