What up guys, Smiling Imp here. Just uploaded a version of the cross banters that I put together. Enjoy!

Preparing a new version of this banter pack. Was thinking of including those banters we did with the DSoTC NPCs and the BG1 Npcs, but I am not sure if they were included elsewhere. Also, if anyone has any other cross banter suggestions/additions, please feel free to message me or post them here. Thanks.

Cross banter? This is my first time playing the game heavily modded because i was against it before, but it sounds cools. Can you write some dialogs with Miriam Ninafer Callisto & Cassius? I found them her eon the forumand want all my npcs talkin to each other.

Hope you are enjoying the mod. I haven't been modding as much as I used to thanks to other commitments but I wouldn't rule out writing some more banters. Never say never...

Solaufein gave me permission to openly add dialog to any of the NPC's that he oversees, plus I have some cross banter with the characters of DSOTC that I need to code up and add, but if any other modders out there want to collaborate on some stuff, or if anyone even has an idea for some potential banter, please let me know or post it here. These kind of projects always work better with a little help.

Things in real life have been keeping me away from the realm of Faerūn, but I will cast a spell soon to put this mod back in progress. Don't even have a working copy of the game at the moment, but that shouldn't stop me from penning down some dialogs, banters and interjections for now. As always, any suggestions and feedback are welcomed..

Thanks for the mod!

I also made a technical modification of this mod, namely:
+ added TRA-ify so that it can be translated into other languages
+ added EE-compatibility
+ fixed several errors in the code, due to which some components were not installed (missing signs ~ and more).
+ added partial Russian translation

UPDATED!

New version - 1.2

• Reworked and improved the installation of the mod - now only those dialogs are installed for which there are the necessary NPCs. The installer checks the presence of an NPC without the participation of the player
• Added additional component - cross-mod dialogs with "Wilson Chronicles" mod by Lava. Now NPCs from Smiling Imp will sometimes comment on dialogs from this mod. Proofreading of the English text by sarevok57
• The component with alternative portraits has been removed. Most of them are already included in the main mod "BG1 NPC in BG2", here it is no longer needed and only complicated the installation
• Restored dialogues between Adrian with Xzar and Montaron. Previously, they remained in the Crossmod Banter Pack, but were disabled there. Now they have been moved here and will be installed along with the rest of the dialogs
• Found errors in the code have been fixed
• Mod uploaded to GitHub
• Updated Russian translation

Mod has been updated to version 1.4!
Fixed an inaccuracy in the code of dialogues between Shar-Teel and Horace, updated WeiDU installer to v249, fixed one bug and also updated the Russian translation!

Smiling Imp, tell me please, would you mind if all your crossmod banters were included in the big mod "Crossmod Banter Pack for BG2"? I could do it. Or do you prefer to keep them separate here?
