For those that have installed and play DSotSC, I have a few questions about it.
Has anyone else noticed the adundance of Druid Only items in this? Seems I can't go to any forested area without coming back with 4 or 5 items no one in my party can use.

I got the Robe of the Grand Wizard and I loved it, less than an hour later I got the Robe of the Abyss and I love that even more, so does my Chaotic Evil Necromancer, I am wondering if there are any comparable robes for Good characters (I haven't done the new areas yet, so no spoilers please just want to know if there are any available).

Last but not least, I got the boots of the Evil Cleric (forget his name, niles or something) and my Chaotic Evil Cleric LOVES the magic resistance, however now he can't wear his boots of speed he seriously lags behind the rest of the party. Taking the boots of the others is not an option as I can't stand the slowness of the default speed. So, is there any item in DSotSC that confers the speed bonus but isn't a pair of boots? (again just a yes or no please, no spoilers)

I think only boot items affect speed...
not sure
mighta missed some

yes there are definitely some good mage robes that good alligned mages can use

you didn't use a druid?!?
are you mad? LoL
my sister and I play MP over the network and created 3 characters each

Mine were
General Mage

yes it may seem redundant with 2 thieves
but you won't believe how useful it is having a thief that can hide in shadows and pick any lock after nashkell mines or a thief that can find and disarm any trap and hide in shadows regularly

and I used priests for their healing spells!

but again I don't think there are any spped boost items in the game...
not that I know of anyway
hehehe *cast haste*
bad suggestion I know but *shrug*

Sorry to tell you the truth, ppl, but there is definitely a ring of haste in BG1/TotSC/DSotSC. It looks like the ring of Edventar, as I recall (ring of free movement). That's what I remember anyway, and I still might be wrong...

you could always increase the number of AI updates on the configure panel.

I found setting the speed to between 35 and 40 works fairly well.
