The problem with Archive is majority of the time it doesn't download files from websites that have downloads. On rare occasions Archive does download a file. I was able to download Arnel's Nalia romance mod and its patch. The only way you would be able to get those items is from someone who has them on their computer or the original author.

I may make a section here for custom downloads like in the old days.

AH Yes, Like : "The TeamBG Custom IE Game File MUSEUM"

This would be really great is to create a collection of old files, the most exhaustive (... Items... Speels ... Kits ... BAMs, etc.), using the database lists on archive.org ... (from all I.E. Games) ...

Or by calling witnesses to the past (which would reconnect with them), appreciating their creations ...

Or by appealing to fans archivists of the Infinity Engine ...

Either by getting the sources on the web as long as it is still available ...

I really insist on the fact that in my mind he is to fetch the "originals" archives from this period for "archaeological", to use but also for the study ...

For my part I own some "artifacts" from that list and I'm ready to return them to the community  :D

But I'm also looking at:

WANTED ! :  8) DONE TY !

 TeamBG IE Custom  File :
 Items :
 Everquest03.zip (456) Jun 21, 02 6 kb Everquest03.zip.htm ,

 Aka :

Everquest Pack 3 - Jack Bullions : Singing Moonblade,Sap Encrusted Branch Club +3,Ankheg Plate Helm,Girdle of   Contention .

-Source :

Custom Items :
http://www.drkness.com/rpg/Bg2weapons.html

-Because the archive is corrupted in the source (Everquest 2 Pack duplicates instead of Everquest 3 Pack)

-I am particularly interested in the Ankheg Plate Helm ...

Thank you for all your efforts ...  ;D

It's not, the link is just to the wrong file, the actual real link should be this.
Here's what the readme says about the Ankheg Plate Helm:
Quote
Ankheg Plate Helm
Mother Magri, a Witch Doctor from the plains of Rhovanion, fashioned this helmet from the chitinous scales of an ankheg to be used as a ceremonial mask. She later discovered that the helmet contained the considerable powers of the ankheg after it was brought before her tribe's statue god for its blessing.

STATISTICS:

Armor Class Bonus: None
Saving Throws: +1 bonus
Fire resistance: +25%
Charisma: -1 penalty
Special Abilities:
  Ankheg Acid
     Damage: 4d4 acid damage
     Range: 40 feet
     Use: Three times a day
Weight: 3

Thank you very much Jarno  ;D, (lovely item description), I spent hours looking this damn Pack  ???

Moreover, we see that the quality of some TeamBg's items were remarkables
I think in particular at :
-Zerth-Blade - Namelessone_01 (TeamBg?):
An Altered Version Of The Blade That Change Zerth and Becomes More Powerful When the wielder Reaches level 10, 15, 20 and 25.

and at :
-Singing Moonblade - Jack Bullion :
Sings five different songs with different effects THAC0: +5 bonus Damage: 1D8 + 3

(..)

Fills me happy,

Especially since I planned to create two weapons of the same concepts ...

Great minds think alike (Cough) despite the passage of time (Cough) ...

I think that some items given here will make some happy, players, or modders ...  ;)

Sooo,  i hope we will be able to recover a maximum of thing of the past for future generations ...   :P

P.S. :
If you walk through time,
Go to archive.org, and visit the blogs, with respect of to these creators of yesteryear (the address is in their read-me) is full of lessons ...

N.B.:
Otherwise a quick link to the road :

Custom Creatures :

http://phrozenkeep.hugelaser.com/resources/infinitum/index-anims-ac.html

And a little question :

Is what the creator of these wonderful animations   ::) :
... have something to do with It? :

TeamBG IE Custom Game File Library / Download Sections / File Downloads
Baldur's Gate II, / Creatures ?

Cheers  ;D

[Edit] : Ankheg Plate Helm & Singing Moonblade : I just tested it, very nice work, including nice building finishing .

This is a site I downloaded before Geocities bit the dust. Dh'arlo'me's Keep was one of the oldest custom sites still around. It came about shortly after TeamBG released some actual tools to make custom content.

 **NO JAVA CLICK HERE**
Go to no java menus!

For some reason the Java isn't loading. Some links may not work either. All file downloads should work though.

The old custom sites, how nice. They were the "thing" before modding took off.

Few technical details :

1) Of course to install certain items, for example in the format: IAP / TBG,  you must use some tools, for my part I use:
IEEE -1.0.9 Build 40 Pro
I think you can find a more recent version, here :
http://www.teambg.org/forum/index.php?action=downloads;cat=3

2) Also on the order of installation certain information is here :
http://www.teambg.org/forum/index.php/topic,119.0.html

3) On the eventual conflicts with other mods, In particular with Items (and what about with another stuff, like BAMs, CRE, Speels ? ...), I confess that I do not know, except that I do not have encountered so far ...

4) How to uninstall them?
    Are they all in weidu?,
It must, and how to uninstall them manually ... ?

So many question I leave for now suspsend, in waiting of eventual improvement of my knowledge, or expert opinion (...)

5) Finally I do not even know :
How to import / convert : Baldur 1 items towards Baldur 2 SOA and TOB ?

Thank You for any help  :) .

It is true ;D,
I would see a section (retromodding) with all the equipment possible (here or elsewhere) from the teambg during these years of practice (rather than his young years elsewhere) ...

P.S. :

I hope that as a project, ultimately, we can make a comparative study of the old school vs. the revival, as with this, by Eg:

Infinity Engine Radio - IER :
http://web.archive.org/web/20060904025522/http://ier.iegmc.com/
Few Podcasts, may-be here :
http://www.podcastdirectory.com/podcasts/24430
A little Interview :
http://ier.iegmc.com/bigginterview.html
Something Else :
http://web.archive.org/web/20070303045901/www.teambg.eu/forum/index.php

In this regard :
Wanted ! :  8)
IER episodes 1-4 [Done]

Cheers ;D

Speaking of time, I was wondering how to reconstruct the
History of the Epic's TeamBG,  :D

Some important dates (all is relative  ;) ):

I.E. MODDING STONE AGE

Bronze Age
On December 26, 1998, Baldur's Gate Was released in the USA
December 28, 1998 TeamBG Begins
Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast (1999)
January 2, 2000 New Web Site Design Launched
Iron Age
November 2000 Baldur's Gate II
Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal (2001)
March 31, 2001 TeamBG.org is officially opened.
February 6th, 2002 http://teambg.kicks-ass.net/ is live. Custom filing sharing site.

I.E. MODDING NEW AGE (Weistley.WEIMER.-WEIDU-released)

The Golden
Mid-2002
March 3, 2004 TeamBG Website Changes and News.
Apr 18 2004 TeamBG's Weekly Modding Contest Begins!
June 9 September 2004, your resource for links to mods released.
July 15-18? 2004 TeamBG went down for good.

I.E. MODDING REVIVAL ...

I conclude that the period's old school cover the years:
Late 1998 to mid 2004, set this to the spirits, in light of new excavations and saw exciting new finds ...

I could find a timeline, through links provided by posters (thank you) of our Forum (see this discussion):

(and this Topic):

Ken Baker started TeamBG, runs the site and made the 'Character Control' (for Character and Creature editing), 'Godlike', 'BG Rules Editor', and 'TeamBG AI Scriptor' programs, discovered many of the unofficial cheat codes listed in the Cheat Codes document here, discovered many other of the early findings including the -1 xpcap to disable the xpcap.
TL (Gustov Montessi) makes the great many in one 'Infinity Engine Editor' programs (for Item, Spell, Store and Dialog editing as well as importing TBG/IAP files).
CuChoinneach was the guy that pulled together 'Dark Side of the Sword Coast' and is currently head of the BG2 add-on team. "
