This discussion is now over, Feanor. Saerileth is just as much nethrin's idea as mine. nethrin and I have an advantage over many modding teams in that we live together in real life. Therefore we think of things together--including Saerileth. She is a shared *idea*, as well as a shared project. I would not make any major decision about Saeri without nethrin's permission, any more than he would without asking my opinion.

I regret that I have lost the desire to continue this discussion of Saerileth's views on romantic attachments. My own views on romantic attachments forbid my continuing.

I gave my love the necklace I bought in Sigil. That is fine. However, I still would ask two things:

If you take it off her there stands: 'Party Gained Item' and again 'Party gained Item', which seems a bit strange as you get only one necklace, but okay.

Now for a more real question: Besides the extra banter and taking the place around my beloved her slender, marmer, beautiful neck... does it do anything else?

No, it does not. We just wanted to have a non-magical gift that you could give her. There are plenty of magical items to buy in the game, including in the Sigil store!

And there is also a magical item that you get for her if you take her romance to its SoA conclusion.

So, no, the Lovers' Necklace does not do anything. (Rather like Yasraena's undroppable necklace: sentimental value only!

)

Good, she won't get mad if I take it off (the lovers necklace)and replace it with something uhh.. shall we say more useful, at times.

Also, picked up the soul reaver IIRC, she said thats an evil sword, and don't equip or use it, (well good aligned can't use anyway), but stuck it in the BoH, what else is there to do with it? Concievably if you sell it (I did) then you are helping promote the further spread and or use of it, but she apparantly doesn't want you to keep it either, and leaving it there, it could get found and used again. There isn't any way to say destroy it, send it to Tyr, 'for safe keeping', considering a good aligned person may want to get rid of evil items?
Maybe I'm just thinking and trying to analyze too much.
