i hope all of the people creating mods keep it up, i hope to enjoy them all at some point. i think the interactions in the game help make it great.

Lets raise this question again. There are more votes for yes and yet I just don't see it.

I'm doing an NPC mod because I feel that's probably one of the easiest projects to work on for someone new to modding.   You get to focus on basically one thing.  Plus, a quest could always be added.  That said, if OTHER people want to do quest mods, that's a good thing.
In progress - Armin Kasun - a mercenary NPC for BG2

On hold - Halbo NPC for BG2, the evil halfling thief, food critic, and party troublemaker

When I'm done with the next version of BG1NPCs for SoA, I want to start a new game and try all the newer NPCs that I have missed out on since I started modding more seriously. Personally, I'm a little burnt out on modding NPCs myself and if I did another mod it would be a quest mod.

I can imagine why.  You have a five-in-one NPC package or something in your mod, don't you?

With Deekin, the mod has 18 possible joinable NPCs. Writing dialogs for that many characters can get tiresome. That is not including the ZELINK Mod, my first modding attempt.  :-X

Including the NPC mods that I like to play, that list grows even higher. I need to find extra things for all those NPCs to do.

Ah.  I thought you had only brought in a smaller number of the BG1 NPCs.  Shows how much I read!

Sure is. Found his soundset at NeverWinter Vault and decided to add him in as a bonus npc. He is missing a paperdoll and weapon animations though but its like my old dungeonmaster used to say when I asked why he was usin an ogre miniature in place of a centaur he responded, "Use your imagination."
