Another tactics mod...
« on: October 26, 2008, 12:06:18 AM »
...kudos to all your hard work, of course.
But how many tactical mods do the BG series need? They generally shouldn't be used together (at least, that -sounds- like a bad idea).

I guess my question is, what does this mod add/change that other tactical mods (Fields of the Dead, Sword Coast Stratagems, etc) do not?

The thing is, Feilds of the dead changes the RULES of the game.. It also adds new enemy charecters which use his newly made AI and such.. The other large mod collection is new to me... Seems to make priest/mages use new spells and add several new things.

What I have made is changed the scripts for individual charecters, as an example if a group of 4 mercenaries had a mage, he would proberly haste them. If he was alone then he might cast Chaos instead.
Either way, I believe that this mod should bring alot of joy to tactical players, and make the game feel somewhat fresh again.

I don't change the rules, I don't add new enemies

I changed all the encounters I could think of induvidually.

Ps. Have you tried it Moongaze? :)
