Oh, I like the idea of a few funny encounters, rather than a standard quest.

Quote
How about Alora acquiring shiny egg-shaped artifact that appears to have no immediate use or value ... after a certain amount of time cracks begin to appear and some magical good-aligned creature emerges from within ...

A tiny dragon? Could use familiar pseudo-dragon animation, and you can adopt it out to Adalon? Or maybe Alora would steal *one* of Adalon's eggs and then you'll have to go back to the Underdark temple to meet with Adalon and explain her the situation risking her wrath, if you are good, and as you've suggested selling the creature to someone nasty if it is not. "No, Alora, we can't keep it, it's going to grow too big!" "But I can ride it later on!"

In Throne of Bhaal, if we are talking about Throne of Bhaal, how about after finding Yaga-Sura's heart Alora grabs it, and you summon extra Fire Giants, and Alora makes them do something really silly promissing to give the heart back before they lose patience and attack the party? I just have this vision of a lovely cutscene with tiny Alora and huge fire giants....

Evil hidden everywhere
Evil has a chilling stare
Null and void of any care
Is where the answer lies
It does no good to beg or cry
It does no good to question why
It does no good it never dies
Evil never dies

Some more extensive than others.

Technically one could argue that the keep was also Nalia's quest, since she left if it wasn't performed, which would bring her to two.

One could also argue that Edwin has two, since you must complete a quest for him to join you. And the nether scroll...

1 quest it shall be. More quests would only delay this mod further.

BioWare NPCs usually had significant quests (the circus, de Arnise keep, harpers that attack you when you don't expect it, planar sphere, even Anomen's sister murder...). Mods usually bring in nasty fights or something. And, spoiler: I'm making three little quests, one for meeting the NPC, one for getting his sister out of trouble and the third is his betrayal and a fight, or just a fight, it depends.

What kind of quest will your mod have?  ;) ? If it's not a secret...

*edit: typos. I made it writing "sopiler"  >:(

*Casts resurrection* Now that I am back in control of this, what quest should she have?
Per me si va nella citta dolente.
Per me si va nell eterno dolore.
Per me si va tra la perduta gente...
Lasciate ogni speranza perduta che'entrate!

To be honest, I would rather like to see full relationship path than a quest. Or maybe a romance for halflings. However, if romances aren't your cup of tea, then at least some new talks for both SoA and ToB. I am sure she can tell charname some interesting stories. She seems to be quite talkative person.

Quest would be a 2nd thing to do, after real character development. And I think that a good idea whould be attempt of some merchant to make people believe she is guilty of stealing something. She would hide somewhere and meanwhile charname would work on an alibi for her. Or some proof that she's innocent.
