That's probably what they meant in option #2, ie TDD, SoS etc.

I chose other simply because there was not an "all of the above" choice.

Now I know that this is a poll about your favorite type.

Problem is, I don't truly have a favorite type. I like bits for each of the choices.

I love NPCs, New Items (I can live without any new hackmasters +20), New Quests, and who does not like big fixes?

NPC mods, then shops, quests and fixes.
And yeah, "all of the above" sounds good  :lilly

NPC Mods are the best type of mods, because I am a roleplayer so I find it intresting to see what kind of NPC's people make. Have they succeed to make their NPC's come alive? Well so far most of these npc mods I have played have have overcome my suspicions on them. You people make good job and all of you should be proud of yourselves...

I picked NPC Mods, just because they add some new material to a game I've played countless times ;D

Although I definitely enjoy the tweak and quest mods, the former because it makes little things more bearable (weapon usage is no longer so limited, etc.) and the latter because it adds new interesting twists to a game I've played countless times. :P

I didn't see an option for quest mods.  Unless they're supposed to fall under "other" but they really should have a separate category.  A well-designed quest can make an otherwise played-out game replayable (or at least that particular quest), without necessarily having to muck about with NPC/party member juggling, conversions/big mods and the like.  Not that I'm saying anything bad about those types of mods; there just seems to be a lack of quest mods, relatively speaking.

That would be because quests are hard to write.

Fed ex quests are easy enough.  ;)

It all depends on how complicated you want it to be.

And "big mods" aren't? :o  Depends on the quest too.  Kind of like comparing writing a one-day NPC to a real one, or a short story to a novel.

Postscript: Uh yeah, what DR said. ;)

All right:

Quests worthy of being someone's favorite kind of mod are hard to write.

Who wants to go through the trouble to write a quest for bringing Dreppin some antidote when there already is one in the game, right?

Edit: What the heck was I drinking to type that badly?

Because in my quest, you can bring him the wrong antidote, which makes the sick cow even worse (a la mad cow disease), eventually infecting the whole town, and the tainted beef crisis become every bit as urgent to solve as the tainted iron crisis.

Just kidding.  I don't have plans for any such quest (hmm...).

Quest mods are good, they usually add to your EXPs.
