Evil hidden everywhere
Evil has a chilling stare
Null and void of any care
Is where the answer lies
It does no good to beg or cry
It does no good to question why
It does no good it never dies
Evil never dies

Why evil? ???
Several reasons. Among them, almost all the weidu mods will not work, an insane number of weapons with overpowering statistics, lots of instant death spells and huge amount of XP for any monster killed. Not to mention that almost all monsters provide you with quest xp. Powergaming at its finest.

That's not really true, TDD v1.11 (found here) is a weidu mod and can work with other weidu mods just fine. Of course, there are some mods and mod components which aren't recommended because they interfere with TDD's Level-50 ruleset, for example.

I don't want to play devil's advocate, don't really use TDD that much myself - it's too unbalanced for my taste. But I don't like it when people give false information which makes mod sound worse than it really is.

My favorite mod is BG1 NPC Project. It gives you everything: NPCs, quests, and tweaks.

After that, though, I like NPC mods. At this point, I know how the game goes. I want to see how other NPCs react to it.

Quest mods are also really cool.

OK. I like mods.

TDD is good for those of us that like power gaming. Not good for us who dislike bugs and crashes though.

NPC mods.  I am scared of the bugginess of bigger mods such as SOS and TDD.  Argh, it looks like some of my posts have disappeared from here since I joined yesterday!  But yeah, NPC mods if they have a nice side story and maybe a nice item or two.

Check the Bodies has become better with the recent version. The first couple of versions when it was first released sucked. It made me stop playing because it was buggy and the mod author had an attitude problem when people posted bug reports.
