Aerie's Baby

So, off topic a little..

Aerie gets a baby before the game is over. Does that mean little Qayle has a, in the words of Imoen: "ittybitty" piece of the taint within him? The Solar did say that only CHARNAME and Imoen was counted as Bhaalspawns by the end, but since both Yaga-Shura and Draconis sought to spread their seed further, unless they did it by a ritual, wouldn't that mean that CHARNAME did the same? Just curious.  :?
Future Sights and dreams:
The "Chosen" warrior - a tool of destiny.
The Bhaal - Hunters.
The Firesoul and the Icequeen.
The Favored of Cyric alternative?

No idea.  Honestly, I'd LOVE to get a cannon opinion on it.

And is the father of Aerie's child really known??? OK, that was stupid joke.

*SPOILER*

Hmmm, in Kelsey mod was something with children, wasn't it? And Solar offerded to Charname that she will *ahem* remove the child beacuse she (I mean child) HAS Bhaalspawn "curse".

*END OF SPOILER*

So little Quayle really should be half-Bhaalspawn, too.

I've never actually gotten far enough in Aerie's romance to have the baby yet.

I'd like to see the birth, the reactions, etc... and it might be nifty to add a few extra reactions on a bit afterwards. Sort of like how the NPC project adds little banters about Coran's lil un.

If she became pregnant in SOA (which is possible if you choose to sleep with her), it might not be such a stretch for her to have the baby in TOB.

I don't remember if they say just how long the group spends in Suldanesselar between them.. but it could work.

I think this would work best as 'optional'

1) Take it out completely
2) Cutscene after game
3) Leave in with or without added content

I can remember people asking what they need to do so they can view the birth

So, what do you have to do to for the baby to arrive?

Any way to use Shadowkeeper to move things along?

I think thats how it worked, I never had a problem seeing that scene.

What I did have a problem ever seeing in the Aerie Romance was the Haer'Dalis/PC conflict over Aerie back in SoA.
"Who--who are you?"
"Who? Who is but the form following the function of what... and what I am is a man in a mask."
"I can see that"
"Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking on the paradox of asking a masked man who he is."

In SoA is something like conflict between H'D and PC?

the baby thing should be absolutely removed! it is far far far too unrealistic and stupid. At least in Kelsey's romance <Charname> does not even begin to show she is pregnant in game. Aerie giving birth in game is just stupid. I mean a woman who is late in pregnancy would NOT be able to continue to fight and even if she did why would she continue to go into sever danger with a baby in her arms?!?! I think Aerie getting pregnant was a the dumbest thing BIoware did in the game.

So its dumb to show that if you have sex you might just end up expecting.
Seriously now, Bioware through in the birth. Because they knew half the people would whine that it never came up.

That *is* true..

If they implied pregnancy in the lovetalks, and brought it up in game a bit, than people never actually saw the result.. they might have assumed that there was a bug somewhere. At least until they got to the epilogue.

Usually by the end of the romance, you've seen everything that has been brought up in the romance neatly tied up and completed.
