IE mods used to kick ass. Look at the stats from a couple of days/month when TDD was first released.

Back in the "golden" age, the target audience was vastly larger than it is now. Still, mod downloads remain fairly steady. Taking this into consideration, the overall interest in mods has perhaps not declined as much as it would appear.

I think mod downloads of today are pretty good considering we're talking about games that are 10-12 years old. As I was saying at the Gamebanshee forums, who would have thought these games would still be popular today. Many games that are that old or dead and buried.

Also back when TDD was first released the forums were very busy, something like over 52 pages in the general TDD discussion forum alone. And that was just in the first month alone.
