I've always hoped to hear more about this area of the Mod

rather than just the quests and everything, and the technical aspect.

Would like to hear on this, how you guys interpret their relationship, its changes, etc, and what you love / hate most about their interaction (not that it will change too much, lol) but just to hear from you guys

Especially since, at least for me, this is the life, the breath, the heartbeat of this entire Mod.

Comments and feedback on their interaction and relationship with other characters as well can also be handled to this thread

As mentioned, Kova has more banters with male characters, and Kiyone has more banters with female characters, though there are exceptions.

Areas you'd like the Mod to delve into (Edwina banters have been placed on the to-do list, lol.. so don't worry on that) as well can also be mentioned here

To start with, they didn't really trust each other, even though I get the impression they were friends before. Now, they are slowly learning to trust each other.

Apart from various other problems, Ano's flirt talk with Kiyo came AFTER the flirts were active with the PC. Not really fair, I feel.

(Or is it just because I'm playing an old version?)

I've always felt that Anomen was quite liberal about some things, and he would flirt with Kiyone because they were, on the surface, so alike in quite a few ways.

That being said, there is a limit and a check for his RomanceActive Variable in ALL his banters with Kiyone. He will not initiate the first banter with Kiyone if he's already committed to the PC (ie variable set to 2), and the 3rd banter with Kiyone should be the last unless he is not flirting with the PC at all, ie either the relationship with the PC is broken or the PC is not eligible for him to play with.

However do bear in mind that RomanceActive Variables only get set after a few Flirts with the PC, especially to a value of 2

Had an interesting chat about Kiyone's relationship with Jaheira

Anyone care to post feedback, and maybe their own thoughts about it? Though just bear in mind that the contents are unlikely to be changed, since I feel that *is* Kiyone, whether it makes her popular or otherwise.

Jaheira and Kiyone? First Kiyone is rather mean, but later they get along better.

I admit I felt the sudden and strange need to defend Jaheira during the first conversations (never had felt that before

). But during one of the later conversations they made peace, more or less that is. And once I knew that I was once more content with letting them figure it out together.

Does Kiyone's personality seem as "unique" as Kova's ? It starts off seemingly pretty "vanilla", but do her "unique"-ness stand out after a bit? How would you describe that special, uniquely Kiyone trait in her personality?

A small gripe: In one of the Kiyone/Viconia banter that starts "Viconia, I would have a word with you", Viconia uses the word "prejudices" to refer to her thoughts about Kiyone's parentage. Perhaps a better word to use would be "words" or "thoughts", because I can't see Viconia seeing her views as prejudice, but rather the truth.

<== this line, as you can see, is the first line that Viconia speaks to Kiyone since being told off about her "prejudices". I've never considered Viconia having a short memory, and the intent was for her to take that word and push it back into the Archer's face. Viconia herself, of course, never actually thinks that these are "prejudices" - she's just getting back at Kiyone.

Think that makes sense?
