Ooooh, BIG mistake, Arconian! He is suing you because TECHNICALLY (I'm not saying this is right, but it's how it goes) you were obliged to leave him your ensurance number, or your parents' if you are underage, or a number where he can contact you to pay for the damages. Since you didn't he has the ground for a law suit. In his statement he can babble whatever he wants, like it was the red light, you weren't watching, anything. He's probably some scum looking for easy cash... you be carefull with these idiots, I've seen this before.
Well, the truth is, he can't really win the suit like this, but he'll try to intimidate you into believing he can. He's probably looking to settle.
