  • The " Gnomes in the City: Quayle & Tiax" component is now installed by default WITHOUT the extended circus quest! Since many players found the extended circus too difficult, it is now optionally installed. Mod has been updated to version 1.4!
Fixed an inaccuracy in the code of dialogues between Shar-Teel and Horace, updated WeiDU installer to v249, fixed one bug and also updated the Russian translation!

One question remains about the matter of music though. I wasn't thinking about adding any at first but bioware NPC romances have original music and the BG1 NPC Project did give Montaron his own theme song and so I"m giving the idea some more thought. In case I do decide to add an original track, the first thing need would be to find some appropriate music and then the correct method in with to add it.
Hello! This idea has been realized, and now the romance with Montaron has its own special melody: It's a little dark (like Monty himself), but good. I added it in those dialogues where Monty talks about his past - there she is especially appropriate, in my opinion :)

Hello! Thank you very much for this wonderful mod and for the trust!  :)
Alisia also wrote a romance talks between Garrick and Nalia (including an additional epilogue), these texts are now in the process of being translated into English, we plan to add them too later!

We would also be happy to implement these two of your ideas:
1) A scripted cut scene resolving the Abelard-Heloise-Fulbert Saga.
3) More things to do with the condo you can buy in the Water Gardens. Eventually, I pictured it like a stronghold, only with funnier tasks such as buying enough shrimp cocktail for a dinner party of having your suit tailored correctly for the cotillion.

But we could not write suitable dialogues for this. If you can write the lyrics for this, I would gladly code them!

New version - 12.5!

- Added an auction held at Lady Goldsword's mansion in Water Gardens, where player would have a one time chance to land precious artifacts for himself and his companions (idea by Smiling Imp, texts by Jericho2, proofread by Sarevok57, coding by Austin). In total, 11 sketches were written, mostly humorous, in the style of the original mod - a total of almost 1000 new lines!
The auction will become available after Lady Goldsword's main quest is completed and after that, 500 seconds of real time will elapse. Every day there will be new scenes, if the player has the required amount of money, and for some scenes, you also need to have certain NPCs in the group - Minsc, Korgan, HaerDalis, etc. If you have Minsc in the group, you will be able to get the legendary platinum pantaloons, and many nobles throughout the city will comment on this (in the Water Gardens area, the Government area and the Bridge area). And if these pantaloons remain with you until the end of the game, then in the chapter 6 in Athkatla you will find an additional small scene.

- Fixed item descriptions in Deekin's shop, edits by Ulpian
- Correction of Usability parameters for druid / shaman-related scimitars and axes on the EE version (thanks tipun)

- Now the sound files will not be installed all together as a separate component, but for each of the NPCs separately and automatically.
- The installation code has been improved to avoid bugs in the event that the components were installed out of order (for example, first Shar-Teel was installed, and then Water Gardens - earlier in this case, some of the dialogs could be removed)

Well, these are my subjective, personal wishes which I understand are not everybody's cup of tea and maybe hard or impossible to implement. More romances for starters, I wish there is possibility to continue or start romances with female NPC's ( continuation of Branwen's and Dynaheir's romances from BG1 NPC project, Safana's from SoD, Skie's from Lava's mod and so on ). And I would prefer if possible some multiromance cheat the way Anthology tweaks or Imoen romance offer, for example.   I hope that maybe eventual agreement can be reached between various authors for various crossmod content of this kind.
Second thing is ZELINK content, great mod overall but I just couldn't stand the way Link shamelessly flirt or try to seduce every female member of the party while Zelda keep talking how great he is and asking love advice every five minutes.  ;D  I would like to turn the tables on the guy and little humble him, as there can be only one alpha in my party, and that is Bhaalspawn.
Yeah, it seems like lot of requests easy to write but hard to implement but it never hurt to ask.  ;)

But regarding Skie, this could only be a new romance, not related to the Lava's mod (because his version of Skie is different in character from the one in this mod, and he did not give permission for cross-mod content)

In the case of Safana, we had the idea of ​​making a romance with her, but here she has an active romance with the Coran and many dialogues are connected with this. Therefore, we abandoned this idea and added only friendly dialogues with it.

I want to inform everyone that this Smiling Imp's idea will soon be implemented and added to the mod! I am currently coding new texts and separate scenes with the sale of various goods at the Lady Goldsword auction, several hundred new lines (already written about 600) and dozens of dialogues will be added! The author of the texts is Jericho2 from the Arcanecoast forum. The texts are originally written in Russian and are gradually translated into English and proofread.
The next update will add them, but this will not be very soon, I have a lot of work to do on the code for this, and Sarevok57 renders invaluable assistance in proofreading the English version of the texts!

Thank you! Yes, there are many bugs that I still have to fix. I'm still busy with the main BG1NPCinBG2 mod and therefore in this case I limited myself to EE-adaptation and tra-ifycation.

Now I have updated the archive again - several bugs found by Lumorus have been fixed!
