Dark Side of the Sword Coast / Spell icons completely messed up
« on: April 26, 2020, 02:17:56 PM »
It took me awhile to find which mod does that. DSotSC for some reason change spell icons, for example Protection from magical weapons has Monster summoning icon and so on. Nothing game breaking but it is killing my eyes...

Glad to hear that. It is nothing urgent thanks to Shadow keeper. Speaking of which, it revealed this:
Bardo, level 6 thief has 3 pipes in short bow and one in two handed weapon style.
Concho, level 7 paladin only has 1 pipe in axe and bastard sword and two in two handed weapon style.
His 10th level variant has same proficiencies ( or deficiencies  ;) but is missing dragon racial enemy.
Cu'Choinneach, level 6/6 ranger cleric is missing his class two points of two weapon style.
Jet'laya at level 6 has mace, flail and single weapon style ( unnecessary ) points while at level 7 has first  two previous and sling proficiency.
Keiria at all versions has same proficiencies, crossbow, staff ( strange considering that she is Blade kit now ) and two handed style.
Skeezer at level 4/5 only have 2 and at level 7/8 3 pipes.
Thorfin is missing pipes available to his level, and since he is barbarian they are very peculiar.

Well, Bub Snikt is the first curious example. I will list others as I pick them up eventually. Lets see, if you pick him up initially at the second level he only has 3 proficiency points.  His 6th level version has correct number, 6 points with 3 in bastard sword, two in longbow and 1 in TWO HANDED WEAPON STYLE !!!  :o >:( ;D
It is not complete waste in my game as I can use bastard sword with two hands if I wish but still...

Dark Side of the Sword Coast / Re: CTD using Elgenon's bramble
« on: September 29, 2019, 03:09:19 AM »
Most probably, as I remember very well that it works flawlessly in vanilla BG:TOS. One more bug by the way, Gift of the woods ( tree hugger only bracers  ;D ) doesn't give AC per description, only extra attack and bonus to P/P saves.

Dark Side of the Sword Coast / CTD using Elgenon's bramble

As the title says, using Elgenon's bramble range ability results in:

This is priceless!  :) She plays him like violin. Don't try to hide it Edwin, Alora figured you out long ago!  ;D Thank you for this little previews.  :) And I'm glad to know that fiery amazon can be sweet when she wants it.  ;)

Yea, comedy and coffee don't mix all that well, I know it.  :) But you managed to perfectly impersonate Edwin, well done. Interesting mix those two, well, opposites attract as they say. But not as much as stalwart Charname and beautiful barbarian I hope.  ;)

Now this banter almost brought me tears of laughter LOL.  ;D Funniest thing I saw in a long time. But I must really commend you, if more dialogues in this mod will have this kind of wittiness and lighthearted fun I can't wait to play it. Although knowing Edwin I'm not 100% sure he will keep his moral integrity and not crumble under pressure ( reluctantly of course ).  ;)

You got me there, LOL. Heh, about Edwin, maybe he can get a champion and it doesn't need to be until death. If champion wins she can keep her playtoy and if she lose it would be only fair of her to extend same courtesy to male PC. But this isn't very likely, right?  ;D ;)

This is more and more interesting.

Now, if Navarra gives the PC a tad bit of trouble, not wanting to give up Edwin... we'll see
Duel perhaps?  :lilly No, just kidding, no needles bloodshed for love.
Now, if she wants to pull this off while she romances male PC...
Duel!!  >:( Also just kidding. Talk can help. Or tit for tat as they say...

Heh... good, ol' comical Edwin. But now that I think about it, there is an Edwin romance mod for female players, I don't know have you heard about it? Are you planning some conflict over that hot blooded Thayan male  ;D or female player win by default? Or is it opposite case? But maybe I underestimate Edwin, perhaps  he is man enough for both of them?  :D

and I always do RE content for each of my mods because I love that mod
As do I.  :) ;)
Now only thing that bothers me ( in a sense that I don't know who is it ) is competition from that mysterious NPC, I must find who is it. ( Even in the spoilers )  :) But if you prefer it surprise, then don't reveal it.  ;D

Thank you. Just for curiosity, do you plan to eventually do ToB part? Oh, and I wouldn't mind little more info, in due time of course.

You can definitely count me intrigued. About Neht'naiel... I remember that I played him long time ago, in some megamod install. Also very interesting mod, although it had few bugs, can't remember what exactly. Anyway I wish you best of luck with Navarra and I really hope you will finish her until I'm done with BG Tutu. It will still take me quite some time to finish it so I hope that Navarra will be ready and polished until then.
