Think I'm going to do a new version of this. Solaufein gave me permission to openly add dialog to any of the NPC's that he oversees, plus I have some cross banter with the characters of DSOTC that I need to code up and add, but if any other modders out there want to collaborate on some stuff, or if anyone even has an idea for some potential banter, please let me know or post it here. These kind of projects always work better with a little help.  :)

Spread the word to the furthest Kingdoms in all of Faerūn! Version 2 of Smiling Imp's Banter Pack is on the way!!!

Things in real life have been keeping me away from the realm of Faerūn, but I will cast a spell soon to put this mod back in progress. Don't even have a working copy of the game at the moment, but that shouldn't stop me from penning down some dialogs, banters and interjections for now. As always, any suggestions and feedback are welcomed..

Could someone tell me where in the promenade Dynaheir can be found. Looked all over and she seems to be as missing as Waukeen.  ;D I can find the others from the mod, but she seems to be hard to locate.


She is disguised as a big cat in the zoo area of the promenade in between the two staircases.

I am not sure/don't remember what the vanilla game gives us as regards to her demise.

Did Minsc bury her? I doubt it as the rest of the party was taken captive. Maybe her wounds weren't mortal?
 
Maybe they raised her for their own evil needs. Quite possibly changing her a bit...maybe turning her evil with a quest for the PC to bring her back?

Or maybe this is a great oppurtunity to introduce the Witches of Rasheman into BG? Possibly with the Red Wizards as an enemy?

Maybe she was the reward that Irenicous gave the thugs who ambushed the party? Finding out that she is alive and creating a quest to rescue her, which could also allow for vegenance against the PCs abductors, for evil PCs of course?

Myabe a mix or combo of all of the above?

You have created an excellent mod already, adding Dynaheir would be a finishing touch in my book....

Sadly, I had a crazy dream quest all coded up for Dynaheir and was just tweaking out the difficulty, but my PC blew up and I did not back it up!!   

I still wish I knew how to add animation to the game! Making the flying elephants that Tiax from this mod is always talking about come true would be awesome!

You should recheck the mod, though, it seems it yields a 0 bytes file when downloaded, as stated by Lollorian here (I can confirm).

Throughout his career Tiax has never been humbled by Cyric.  He has never had to account to Cyric or be held that he has been aiding the child of Cyric's former enemy.  Cyric would heavily chastise Tiax for not slaying CHARNAME earlier and would express his extreme disappointment that now Cyric himself must intervene.  Cyric will now threaten Tiax with every torture and embarassment that Tiax has threatened others with should he fail to slay CHARNAME.  And suddenly Tiax has a moment of doubt, a morose feeling of feebleness, and guilt.

Tiax will chastise CHARNAME and tell him/her that s/he will pay for this embarassment and finally suffer the rightly-swift judgement of the mighty Tiax!

CHARNAME will respond with two options

1. Don't listen to him Tiax.  We've traveled so far together and overcame so much. Let's complete our journey together.  We need each other, not Cyric.

2. CHARNAME lives and dies at the behest of Cyric.  With but one thought of Cyric, CHARNAME would be disemboweled by a thousand pungent gibberlings.  The sun rises and falls by Cyric's will alone!  If Cyric wished CHARNAME to be no more, CHARNAME would have been snuffed out in the womb!

CHARNAME is but a pathetic pebble underneath the mighty foot of Tiax.  CHARNAME is a mere blunt needle compared to the massive jaws of destruction that Tiax wields.  CHARNAME lives only at the regard of Tiax.  How is that Tiax is asked to do such effortless tasks?  No!  This Cyric is but a feeble shadow of the real Cyric!  The real Cyric does not make demands!  Demands themselves beg Cyric to exist!  Cyric asks does what he alone wishes!  In the name of Tiax we must slaughter this impostor and all who align themselves with him!

If the first option is chosen, Tiax will berate CHARNAME and join the Chosen of Cyric in battling CHARNAME.  If the second option is chosen, Tiax's ego will be soothed and he will regain his composure and come to realize that CHARNAME is right.

"Who is this impostor that dares mock Cyric!  A mere imp unworthy to taste Tiax's discarded scraps!  You shall quickly fall to Tiax's might!  Cyric aid me!"

After the battle, Tiax will praise CHARNAME, granting him/her the honor of shining Tiax's belt buckle.

Wow! That's pretty good!

Wow! I think that is the first request I've had for that mod! :-D

Unfortunately, it seems I did not save a backup copy before the hard drive from my last PC self destructed. I have been trying to retrieve the data from the drive but as of yet, no luck. More accurately, by brother, who knows way more about computers is trying to help me get that stuff back. Maybe we'll try again in a few weekends, cause I left the parts at his house, but no guarantees. These are the drawbacks of being a penniless writer.  :crybaby:

Hopefully someone has a copy somewhere that they can upload until then.
