I really hope you are inspired to finnish your mod. I check in here 2 or 3 times a week to see how are things going. I don't understand much of what you modders are talking, but I try. I have been playing BGT and I do like BG1 more than BG2. I think BG1 is a much better developed world than BG2 and mods for it can only make it better. I think we are going to see many new mods (mostly small ones) for BG1 & TotSC now that BG1Tutu and BGT/BP-BGT-NeJ are out and have reopened the Sword Coast to us all!

Has Neh'taniel been dead so long he can't see genders any longer?   ???  He calls my male half-elf both My Lady and My Lord.  :crazy  I didn't see anything already posted on this.  If you wish I can post WeiDU.log and other files from my game.

This is from an old Dragon Magazine issue (109).

So that would make them 'cannon' for AD&D.
Hello My Friend,

I think I might really like your Half-Dryad (not too hot on your half-Orc), but just because it was published in Dragon does not mean it is cannon.   Generally it is thought that if it was published in Dragon it is OK, but up to the DM and the type of campaign he wanted to run.   Sage Advice, Gary Gygax's & Lenard Lakofka's articles are cannon and I am not sure about the WotC era and don't really care.  I think the article presents a cool NPC race and really look forward to your mod!

Post it somewhere and put a spoiler warning on it.

Noobers Dwarven Hammer / Re: IE Games

The Mods need to get promoted better.  If they could get writen up in computer gaming mags would really help.  A spam email to all the registered owners of BG and other CRPG games about the mods.  Think Bioware would help to sell more games?  Dragon Mag is going out of print (lots of IE game adds in the past), but maybe something could be done with WotC to help promote Forgotten Realms and D&D?  I have read many posting that say their first exposure to D&D and/or Forgotten Realms was with IE games.  They might 'see' this as a way that interested visitors to their web site might get fully involved in D&D.  Get The Wizard to do a general IER/pod cast about IE gaming and/or get on other CRPG programmes to promote BG.  Spam post in other newsgroup about games what is up with BG games.

Any or all of these would get some new/return players to the game.

Hello Dark Raven,

I know many people wish to install CoM Enounters and Dark Ritual (I've played DR and liked it), but don't/can't because they over writes/copy and pastes.  Would you develop a version that would be more compatibile with other mods.  I know this would get a wider group of players for your mods.

Yeslick NPC Mod / Re: not a progress report thread
« on: April 30, 2007, 03:37:52 AM »
Here's an idea. If anyone wants Yeslick, they should create a dwarf fighter/cleric in a MP party, give him Yeslick's stats and voice and off they go. ;D

If you really want Yeslick in your party now install TDD.  He is there, doesn't say much but does have his voice.

Magnus@ I will play this mod when you finnish it.  Good Luck

I agree with Sillara. There are so many NPCs around, it's already enough that one has to write banters for all BioWare ones. The very idea of having to emulate their specific style and mannerisms is a wet blanket for me.

You never know with those Lawful Evil wizards. Surely not love, but he could make attempts at seducing her. The problem is, if something like this were to happen, charname would probably have to intervene (depending whether such advances would be considered immoral - this is a quasi-mediaeval world, after all) and Edwin would have to be either hacked into pieces or kicked out of the party (one never knows what he could try if rebuked). People who prefer to keep him in the party wouldn't really appreciate that. What's sure is that she wouldn't be interested, anyway.
