I have a very good idea who it is

Would I be right in thinking that he's mentioned in Lands of Intrigue?

I'm the one developing Kivan, and don't worry, it won't be a romance

When you meet him he's on the path to becoming fallen. You can help to either redeem or corrupt him. Certain NPCs will try push him in one of these directions too.

It was my understanding that Battles is still (slowly) being worked on by Tyrus in Moonfruit's absence. Therefore, assuming v6 doesn't scrap all the work done for previous versions, it still seems relevant

The Battles mod improves several encounters, such as the Trademeet Crypt, Firkraag, Drizzt and the Temple Sewers party.

A recent issue of Dragon Magazine (#350 to be precise) introduced the Celadrin, a "race of planetouched descended from the unions of elven worshippers of Hanali Celanil and eladrins (usually firre) consummated during summer solstice revels".

To my knowledge, neither any the games (ToB included) nor the manuals state that Bhaal did his "seeding" during the Time of the Troubles.  The only "official" source for this idea is the novelization of BG1, and considering the same sentence in that book states that the PC is the son of Bane, it can fairly easily be ignored ;).

indeed, quite a few contributors to the BG1 NPC Project weren't coders either :).

Oh for the days when developers would release a demo a couple of months before the release date, rather than half a year afterwards... :)

My brother uses a Mac mini, and to me it looks suspiciously like a lunchbox.  Still at least it's better than that Mac which resembled a desktop lamp.

Mind you, even in the Forgotten Realms dwarves are still considered a "dying race", with the number of deaths outweighing the number of births due to a decreasing fertility rate.

Dark Side of the Sword Coast / Darkside & BGT
« on: February 06, 2006, 01:40:10 AM »
Because BG1 and BG2 use the same filenames for different things (e.g. BG1's AR0300 is NE Balur's Gate, and BG2's AR0300 is the Docks District), BGT has to rename the BG1 versions.  This means that the CoM version of DSotSC can't update some of the files it needs to, and hence won't work properly (if at all).

If you're really desperate to use this version of DSotSC with the enhancements offered by the BG2 version of the Infinity Engine, it might be compatible with BG1Tutu.  Simply install DSotSC on your BG1 as per usual, then run the Tutu program.  However, there are no guarantees this will work, especially as the old non-WeiDU DSotSC was known to be incompatible with Tutu.
