Indeed. I have several friends (and two ex girlfriends) whom I always playfully argued with about their beauty and good aspects. Then would never believe me, but a simple "aww thanks" isn't too much to ask for, hmm? :)

You need to upload a regular picture than a thumbnail. Since I don't have Paintshop Pro installed on this computer I could shrink my picture down. Paint doesn't cut it.

Revan, are we able to edit the thumbnail once it is uploaded? I can't find a way to at the moment (and have since discovered a way to create a thumbnail of the picture I've put in the album)?

Ah, I see... what you need is:
1) Find a way of hosting your picture on the web (try www.imageshack.us for free picture hosting if you don't already have a way... it isn't the only website that hosts pics for free but I use it and its nice and easy).
2) Then post it by typing:
{img}web_address_of_pic{/img}
(except use square brackets [] not curly ones {} )

Close... you only need the "img" tags. Get rid of the "url" stuff. Also, you've posted a link to the webpage; what you need is a link to the pictures within the webpage. Here's how you get them (I assume you're using Internet Explorer):
1. Go to the webpage.
2. Right click on the picture you want, and select "Properties."
3. Use the mouse to highlight the text next to the "Address (URL)" field. This is the link to the picture itself.
4. Hit "Ctrl-C" to copy the text into the clipboard.
5. Now create a post on this site, and use "Ctrl-P" to paste that link in between the "img" tags.
So the first picture on your webpage would look like this, with brackets [] instead of curly brackets {}:
{img}http://home.earthlink.net/~snapperd/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/olympicbeach.jpg{/img}
and it would show up like this:

The popularity of the CoM Album continues to astound me.
Thirteen entries - ten if you exclude the pictures that really shouldn't be there because they are BGII portraits and not pictures of real people. We have 291 members. That means 3.44% of CoM members have peeked out from behind the electronic curtain.

Maybe people are having trouble with the album? First few times I tried to post a pic there it kept informing me that it was too big (even though it was NOT) or that it's not the right format (even though it WAS jpg.) and in the end I could only upload the tiniest tiniest little pic I could find (and not a very flattering one at that :roll: ). So.... DO you guys have trouble with the album??? :shock:

I probably am shorter as I am only 5ft 6 although that is still taller than my mum. I am also about my dads height. Also I don't know if it makes me feel better, as I don't know what he is like. Still it makes a change from being called Harry Potter IMO.

Do you mean Taliesin by Stephen Lawhead? If so, no, not really. We liked the meaning (Grace, as in the unmerited favor of God) and the fact that it has referred to Aphrodite on occasion. :D They've got three names apiece, our children, not counting our surname. :shock:

Yes, that was what I meant, thanks. (I find it quite difficult to remember the titles of everything I've read, especially if I had to read something in German (it's too expensive to get everything I want to read in English, alas), and the title is not the same as in the original.)
Anyway, I like your children's names because they are rather unusual. :)

Harlequin, the last shot is quite the philosophical-type: a girl looking outside her domain/cell, though barely as if the window is above her neck (imagine a small window near the ceiling), forcing you to have to hop to the top of the furniture in order to get a speck of the outdoor life, and even still having only the brightness of the sun to shine her day/existence.

This is a part of Polish camp tradition. We take sth sweet like honey alcohol, add some fruit (apples, pineapples, peach), put everything into a pot, and wam it a bit. It is called "Grzaniec". It is strong and is very good when the weather is bad. But the fruits are soaked with alcohol and one can be wasted just by eating a lot of them :D

They were temporary (I found them is a pack of crisps or some other snacks) and lasted only for 3 days :) I made them cause I was little drunk and thought it would be a funny idea having those tatoos next to thereal one. And I used to say then that the dragon is from bigger pack of crisps :D

I used to think I could explain the behaviour of other guys, but have since reverted to the theory that I have no idea, but I still understand other guys marginally better than girls. For me, long hair is feminine. It's romantic. It's lovely when swept over my skin. I also understand it takes a lot of work and if i was a lass, I'd have short hair because i tend to go for practical over attractive. Admittedly i don't have much choice but hypothetically if i did i would, if that makes much sense.

Hmm, never saw that. I lived with a lass for years with hair so long and lush she sold for a wig at the end. She used to iron her hair though. Maybe it was so terrified from that treatment it didn't dare misbehave.

I used to think I could explain the behaviour of other guys, but have since reverted to the theory that I have no idea, but I still understand other guys marginally better than girls. For me, long hair is feminine. It's romantic. It's lovely when swept over my skin. I also understand it takes a lot of work and if i was a lass, I'd have short hair because i tend to go for practical over attractive. Admittedly i don't have much choice but hypothetically if i did i would, if that makes much sense.

As for smiling... Well, you seem to be smiling shyly on the first shot, and your eyes really captivate the attention, thus giving the idea that you are trying to divert the attention of the viewer away from your lips (and succeding in doing so, I must add. :D ). The second is difficult to tell, but I don't think you are (due to the lack of muscle' contraction on your left cheek, but I could be wrong, of course :D).
A suggestion: smile more often, the lens love that. ;)

I knew a goth at Uni who didn't beleive in footwear, and who earned money as a part time statue. I think she became a biologist. She was always involved with The Rocky Horror Show and I went on the outing all dressed up. It was fun and a total shock to the system.

I was thinking about Sillara's photo shoot and doing a search on the net on what Goth was nowadays, and I found out apparently it's all Post-Goth. Now, I can't see any difference but it must be there.
Anyhooo, since there seems to be lots of goths here, i thought you might like this site http://industrialgothic.com/gbotw/2001/ . It appears to be work safe but I can't guarantee it. Lol. Actually we have a pool cleaner and everything, but the winds here are very strong in the fall, and we get everything from pizza boxes, to pieces of metal in our yard and the pool. Plus, the cleaner gets clogged up at times (leaves).

That was the first time I had tried it. I do not usually wear makeup of any kind. (And the white was so very nearly the shade of my own face that it was not funny! :P ) I just got the dress last week. I know nothing of the goth scene. nethrin took me out to dinner at an English pub that day; it was Friday, so fish and chips were perfect! Where we went afterward, well, that must be left to the imagination! :bat
However, I am planning to dress up that way again this Saturday. We are going to see the Royal Shakespeare Company perform "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and I will go as a goth! :D

you have to understand what a japanese "love hotel" is. do you? they are not typical hotels. they are rooms used for 3-hour stints. only after 11 pm or so can they be used as an all-night stay.

My screenname is Ishel, my current BG character. The avatar is Angel Sanctuary art. AS is a very cool and amazing manga and if you like that sort of things you should check it out.
My real name is Joran, although I don't know why you would care (I like my name though! :D ). I'm here because I recently discovered mods and wanted to be able to follow the progress of my favorites (Fade was the first one. Then a bit of browsing forced me to play BGII for the next 15 years or so :-D ). You'll probably see no mods from me, since I feel it's a bit 'late' to learn how to edit the IE. I know some of the basics, as in, I can make custom items and creatures and know how to dump them somewhere, but that's about it. I wish I knew how to edit dialog, but I'm to lazy to actually learn that. I have some ideas, but I think I'm going to save them for NWN 2. I'm evil like that.

You should have seen the faces of the innocent bystanders when we were trying to take a picture of Stormwind's Pit of Lag. Or when we were jumping in front of a mailbox :D they appeared to be rather puzzled.

Thanks, it was on my trip in Australia (I'm Dutch). The last one with my gf (also dutch, but was there for her thesis; she lives in the same town as I)... Got myself out of a wheelchair and didn't see the festival I had worked for a year for just to be with her, but it didn't help... :cry: sorry, still miss her.

Yes, he fired single shots, but his boss (the american boss who owns the weapon in the first place) fired short bursts. Can't say much about it, since I never fired any guns except for a CZ 550, last autumn when I went to hunt some boars. ;D

The holes are about the right size. The M-16 / AR-15 series rifles use 5.56mm (or .223 federal) ammo. If you take .22 long rifle ammo (a very small looking round used in "squirrel guns" - literally) and line it up with 5.56mm ammo, the actual size of the projectile at the tip of both is about the same. I have heard long and involved discussions over the relative merits of the 5.56mm vs 7.62mm (and even some of the 10mm comparisons) but the only thing that matters is that at the right range, it doesn't matter. A hole in your target with the kinetic energy imparted by either will definitely mess up your target's day :)

Honestly, everyone remembers me, way two well. I went to Hyvee(local grocery store) about a month past. One of the girls(Shawna) at the checkout turns to the one I was checking out. "Do you know who that is?" She asks the girl. "That's Sean McGarvey." I haven't been Sean McGarvey since 6-7 so you can imagine my surprise. :o
I finally remembered who she was. Shauna was a girl who I knew in 1st grade! And she still knew who I was. (this was before my bleaching though)

These were taken a couple of months ago, when I came to the idea of lightening my hair, *then* dying it red. So it was not red yet. It was kind of orange ;) A hair styler asked me what I had done. ;D And, yup, I'm not photogenic. So there I am, playing a fool :-[

I'm a very decent and certainly not the darkest girl in comparison to what else you can find in Serbia. Metal has become *in*, that's so idiotic! Half of the girls are dressed in the same two ways:
1. those that truly listen to metal come close to boys (except for the long scary skirts sometimes) and act like they never heard of *makeup*
2. the other half is in fact listening to folk music and dresses like this hoping to get everyone's attention, which they do.
(and not the national music, I meant the most peasantish peasantry music with *no* artistic value. Eg. of their lyrics, sang by a disgusting woman they find attractive and with an equally disgusting voice: "a girl for one night, think it, I don't care, but my underpanties have stayed at your place!" or "if you have guts, if you are hearted, buy me a fur coat, if you have guts, if you... emm, have a clock (which also means if you have guts)... put a diamond ring on my hand" and so on...)
